Here are some helpful hints and tips to help you make a wide variety of cocktails with our Syrups and Mixes.

SYRUPS

All of our syrups (except the Old Fashioned Syrup), can be substituted into any of your favourite cocktail recipes! Simply swap out the syrup in the recipe, for one of our flavoured syrups to instantly add a new dimension to your cocktails.

Simple Syrup

This original syrup is integral for making all kinds of classic cocktails. This simple syrup will add just the right amount of sweetness so that you can make perfectly balanced cocktails at home.

Sour Style Cocktail

2oz Spirit of your choice

1oz Fresh squeezed Lemon Juice

1oz Simple Syrup

1 dash Aromatic Bitters (optional)

1 Egg White (optional)

Add all ingredients to a shaker. If using egg whites, shake all ingredients together before you add ice. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Fine strain into a cocktail glass, or over ice in a tumbler. Garnish with some aromatic bitters or brandied cherries.

Ginger Syrup

Our ginger syrup is made from freshly juiced ginger, so it packs a huge punch. This syrup can be easily incorporated into all kinds of cocktails, and goes great in salad dressings.

Ginger Whiskey Sour

2oz Whisk(e)y of your choice

1oz Fresh squeezed Lemon Juice

1oz Ginger Syrup

1 dash Aromatic Bitters

1 Egg White (optional)

Add all ingredients to a shaker. If using egg whites, shake all ingredients together before you add ice. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Fine strain into a cocktail glass, or over ice in a tumbler. Garnish with candied ginger, or some aromatic bitters.

Salted Plum Syrup

This tasty syrup is super versatile and will pair well with all kinds of your favourite cocktails. Its slightly savoury, fruity & tangy taste goes especially well with tequila, gin and whiskey, but anything goes with this one.

Salted Plum Margarita

2oz Tequila (or Mezcal)

1oz Fresh squeezed Lime Juice

1oz Salted Plum Syrup

Choose your glass and rim half the glass with salt. Add all ingredients to a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Add fresh ice to your glass, and strain your cocktail into the glass.

Tamarind Syrup

Tamarind is known for its unique tangy taste. This syrup has a lovely balance of sweet & sour, and goes great with tequila, whiskey, vodka, or rum.

Tamarind Daiquiri

2oz Rum

1oz Fresh squeezed Lime Juice

3/4 – 1oz Tamarind Syrup

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. No garnish required, but feel free to add a fresh or dehydrated lime wheel.

Rosemary Syrup

This herbaceous syrup will add a nice savoury spice to any cocktail. This goes particularly well with gin, vodka, tequila or rye whiskey.

Rosemary Spritz

1oz Rosemary Syrup

1oz Fresh squeezed Lemon Juice

4-6oz Sparkling Wine

Add all ingredients to a Collins glass or large wine glass filled with ice. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with fresh rosemary and lemon wheels.

Lavender Syrup

This syrup encapsulates the gorgeous floral and soothing aroma and taste of lavender. This one perfectly pairs with gin or vodka, but can easily compliment tequila, mezcal or pisco. Add some to your coffee or whipped cream for a gourmet indulgence.

Lavender Collins

2oz Gin

1oz Fresh squeezed Lemon Juice

1oz Lavender Syrup

3-4oz Soda Water

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a collins glass filled with ice and top with soda. Garnish with a fresh wheel of lemon.

Old Fashioned Syrup

The Old Fashioned is one of the more challenging cocktails to master. This syrup has done most of the work for you! We’ve balanced the bitter with the sweet, so all you need to do is add your favourite spirit.

Old Fashioned

2oz Spirit of Your Choice

1/4oz Old Fashioned Syrup

Add ingredients to a mixing glass, fill it with ice, and stir together for 10 – 15 seconds. Garnish with brandied cherries and twist of orange.

1oz Lemon Sour Mix

3oz Sparkling Wine

Add ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake hard, and then strain into a flute. Top with sparkling wine.
